About
From founding orthodontist to mental health advocate
Whitney Wright spent years building what looked, from the outside, like an enviable career. As the founding orthodontist and a former executive at Risas Dental & Braces, he helped grow the organization across four states.
Behind that success, Whitney was quietly battling severe anxiety, depression, PTSD, and panic attacks — the kind of private struggle that high-responsibility, high-performing people are especially good at hiding.
Stepping away from that career began a long recovery. Today, Whitney speaks and writes about what he learned the hard way: that the earlier you tell someone, the more choices you have. His mission is to help other men recognize the cost of silence before it costs them everything — their health, their relationships, or their lives.
Whitney is the author of Men Under Pressure, and speaks to organizations, teams, and communities on burnout, perfectionism, resilience, and men's mental health.
